His Excellency Mr. Mubarak bin Hussain Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, met in his office with His Excellency Mr. Olivier Guillaume Béer, Representative covering Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, Ghana, Liberia and Togo of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. During the meeting, ways to strengthen joint cooperation between the Embassy and the High Commission were discussed, as well as issues of common interest.

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Abidjan organized the activities of the National Sports Day year 2025. The sports activities were attended by members of the Embassy and a number of ambassadors of Arab countries accredited to Côte d'Ivoire. The program included a number of activities, including football, basketball and padel.

HEM, Amadou Coulibaly, Minister of Communication and Spokesperson of the Ivorian Government met in his office at the Ministry His Excellency Mr. Mubarak bin Hussein Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire and Mr. Rashid Hamidi Al-Meqarih - Second Secretary. The meeting was attended by Mr. Oumar Konaté, Acting Director of the Minister's Office and Mrs. Gertrude Dammond, Director General of Communication and Media. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them.

HEM, Massire Touré, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, met in her office at the Presidency HEM. Mubarak bin Hussain Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire and Mr. Rachid Himidi Al Maqareh 2nd Secretary. The meeting took place in the presence of Ambassador Claude Sahi Soumahoro, Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic. During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them were discussed.

His Excellency Mr. Mubarak bin Hussain Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, met with His Excellency Mr. Jean-Marc Yassé, Mayor of the Municipality of Cocody. During the meeting, ways to strengthen joint cooperation between the embassy and the municipality were discussed, as well as issues of common interest.

H.E. Miss Belle Monde Dogo Minister of Solidarity and the Fight against Poverty met in his office at the Ministry H.E. Mubarak Husain Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Côte d'Ivoire. ​ During the meeting, bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them were discussed. ​

HEM Mubarak Hussain Al Marri attended the lunch offered in honor of the ambassadors of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), by the Speaker of the Parliament of Côte d'Ivoire, HEM Adama Bictogo, in his capacity as President of the exercise of the Parliamentary Union of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (PUIC), in order to strengthen the constructive and fruitful relations between the Ivorian Parliament and the Ambassadors of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation accredited to Côte d'Ivoire.

His Excellency Mr. Mubarak bin Hussain Al Marri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, participated in the traditional ceremony of presentation of wishes between the diplomatic corps accredited to Côte d'Ivoire and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Ivorian’s Abroad, His Excellency Mr. Léon Kaku Adom, on Thursday, January 23, 2025. He attended this ceremony in the presence of ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions, representatives of international organizations, as well as consuls and honorary consuls accredited to Côte d'Ivoire.

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Abidjan organized a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar, celebrated on December 18 of each year. The ceremony took place in the presence of HE, Koffi N'GUESSAN, Minister of Technical Education, Vocational Training and Apprenticeship, the guest of honor of the celebration and HE, DIAWARA Mamadou, Vice President of the Ivorian Parliament, President of the Côte d'Ivoire Qatar Parliamentary Friendship Group and several ministers of the Ivorian government, as well as ambassadors, members of diplomatic missions and heads of international organizations accredited to Côte d'Ivoire. Also participating were a large number of Ivorian government officials, businessmen and eminent figures of Ivorian society.

HE President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire Adama Bictogo, met with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Cote d'Ivoire Mubarak bin Hussein Al Marri. During the meeting, cooperation relations between the two countries were reviewed.
